The Hangzhou Xixi Wetland Park was recently named a "National 5A Scenic Spot" – the first wetland in China to receive that designation. Xixi Wetland Park is China's first and only park to combine urban, agricultural and cultural wetlands together. In 2009, Xixi Wetland Park was added to the international list of important wetlands. The "5A" rating is the highest attainable in China, and it signifies that the landscape quality, service quality, environmental quality and visitor satisfaction are all top-notch.
