Kunming Wujiaba International Airport (KMG) (Kunming wu jia ba guo ji ji chang)
Kunming Wujiaba International Airport (KMG)is approximately 7.5 km outside the city center. The airport has a number of domestic and international flights, as well as connecting flights to other cities in Yunnan Province. Its domestic flights destinations include Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Guilin. With 11 international airlines, the airport offers international flight to Hanoi, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and many Asian destinations and flights to autonomous regions such as Hong Kong and Macao. Regional flight destinations include Baoshan, Jinghong, Lijiang, Manshi, Shangri-La, Xishuangbanna and Zhaotong in Yunnan Province.
Traveling to the airport can be quite inexpensive, approximately RMB 15-20 for 20 minutes of travel time by taxi, but the most economic way to travel is by public bus.

Public Bus
Several buses travel from Kunming's city center to the airport and visa-versa. Additionally, there are two buses that travel to the railway station and bus 103 travel's to Kunming's suburbs. Buses run at regular intervals with long operational hours (06:00 – 22:30). Price is set at RMB 1.
