Lanzhou is the transportation hub for Gansu Province, with Lanzhou East Bus Station and Lanzhou West Bus Station being the two largest stations. Between them they operate more than 750 buses traveling to different destinations on a daily basis. The most popular destinations include Xinjiang, Baotou, Xining, Zhengzhou, Chengdu and Wenzhou. From Lanzhou tourists can also take a bus to the pristine Sangke Prairie.
