Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO) (Qingdao Liuting Guoji Jichang)
Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO) is located 32 kilometers from the city center. The airport serves various domestic and international destinations. Some of its most popular international destinations include Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka in Japan; Seoul, Incheon and Busan in Korea; and Singapore. It also serves regional areas like Hong Kong and Macau.
The airport is served by shuttle buses (RMB 15) that take travelers to and from a number of central locations including Hong Kong W. Rd. and the Haitian Hotel. Services stop at approximately 8:00 p.m. The taxi fare is approximately RMB 70 plus toll fee. Several city buses also travel to the downtown area, but first time travelers are advised to use either the shuttle bus or a taxi.
