Due to its hilly topography, the city of Qingdao does not have too many bicycles. One of the most convenient modes of transportation is the public bus. Apart from its 124 regular routes, Qingdao Public Transport Group offers two trolley routes that serve suburban areas.
Qingdao also offers bus services that run along the coastline, offering a great way to view the unique architecture of this part of the city.
No. 26, No. 201 and No. 202 bus routes start from the railway station travel along the seashore pass by Zhanqiao Pier and Badaguan scenic areas. One of the best routes is Route 317, which starts from Zhongshan Park and ends at the Stone Old Man (Shilaoren) Holiday Resort. Route 501 takes visitors to Zhangqiao, Zhonshan Park and many of the beaches, while Route 801 brings travelers to the beaches, Zhanqiao, Luxu Park and other wonderful attractions.
