Ferry
Transportation between Qingdao and Huangdao has been facilitated in recent years with numerous ferries as well as private boats. Traveling between each city is only 20-30 minutes and depart every half an hour starting early in the morning until past dark. But be warned, the boats do not operate on misty or rainy days. This is a great way to travel in the summer time to experience the sea breeze.
Standard boat: (6:30 am - 9:00 pm) RMB 6, every half an hour.
High-speed boat: (7:00 am - 6:00 pm) RMB 8, every 20 minutes.
Qingdao to Xuejia Island (Anzi Wharf)
High-speed boat: (7:00 am - 6:10 pm) every half an hour.
