Qingdao Railway Station (Qingdao Huochezhan)
As a favorite travel destination and a commercial center, Qingdao has rail links to many other major cities, including Beijing (about 9 hrs), Shanghai (19 hrs), Guangzhou (28 hrs), Wuchang, Nanchang, Xuzhou, Zhengzhou, Xian, Lanzhou, Xining, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Dandong. Upon arrival, visitors should walk outside the train station to get a taxi, and make sure that the driver turns the meter on. Qingdao Railway Station is temporarily closed for renovation before the Olympics. The main temporary station is in Sifang District, near Sifang Long Distance Bus Station.
