Ferries are a picturesque way to travel between the city of Sanya and Guangzhou, Beihai and Haian and tickets are easily obtained as they do not need to be booked in advance. The ferries do not run during bad weather, which means that between June and October when the weather is volatile, visitors should not rely on using them.
