Mountain Bike
Sanya is easy to negotiate on bicycle, which can be hired from a variety of shops around the city. Hotels and hostels also hire bicycles out for between RMB20 and RMB60, depending on the make of bike. The prices vary between individual shops too, so shopping around is recommended.
Local Ferry
Sanya's Ferry port is situated 23 kilometers from the city, and can be reached by jumping on any of the minibuses heading to Tianya Haijiao for a fare of RMB3. A return ticket from Sanya ferry-port to West Island costs RMB120.
