Sanya will host the first ever International Musical Fireworks Competition from January 24th to 28th, an event jointly organised by Sanya People’s Government and Liuyang People’s Government and hosted by the International Fireworks Association. According to reports, this will be the largest above-water fireworks display in the world with over 100,000 different fireworks scheduled to light up the skies. Two shows are scheduled per day, with each display lasting 30 minutes (10 minutes for displaying new products and 20 minutes for the musical fireworks performance.
