During the Spring Festival holiday (January 22-28) Shanghai's Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport saw 10,170 planes come and go, and transported more than 12 million passengers. Currently, flights from Harbin, Changchun and Shenyang to Shanghai are still basically sold out – save for a small amount of first-class tickets to choose from. China Southern Airlines' Sanya-Beijing, Guilin-Beijing, Chengdu-Beijing, Shijiazhuang-Guangzhou flights for the next two days are also close to 100% capacity, while Chongqing, Chengdu and Xi'an flights to Guangzhou and Shenzhen have also been mostly sold out. According to industry insiders, some special 70% discounted tickets will be available during two days before the Lantern Festival (Feb. 6th) on under booked flights from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to Shanghai, Hefei, Hangzhou and Nanjing.
