Bus fares in Tianjin are set at RMB 1 and 2, depending on the distance. As the city has become more and more popular as a tourist destination, some buses have Mandarin/English recordings announcing approaching stops and landmarks. All buses operate from 6:00 am – 9:00 pm. Travelers are advised to avoid the buses during rush hour, when they are extremely crowded.
