The Urumqi Silk Road Ice and Snow Festival opened at the Silk Road International Ski Resort (丝绸之路国际滑雪场) on December 28th. In addition to being held at the Silk Road International Ski Resort, other events are taking place at Xuelianshan Dengguang Ski Field (雪莲山灯光滑雪场), West Ski Field (维斯特滑雪场), Baiyun International Ski Field (白云国际滑雪场) and Tianshan Mountain Lidou Ski Field (天山丽都滑雪场).
Getting there: ride shuttle bus at Zhongqiao Suburb Bus Station (中桥市郊客运站) on Huanghe Lu (黄河路)
