Would just like to add some bars that me and my friends go to in Wuhan that always have plenty of foreigners drinking in them :-

Helen's Cafe - There are at least 5 Helen's Cafe's around China and they are very popular amongst foreigners living in China. Very good prices on food and drinks. This one is in the Wuchang district.

Vox - a good place to listen to good music and live music. Popular amongst Chinese hipsters and young foreigners. Found in the Wuchang district.

Brussels Cafe - Owned by a friendly Belgian man named Dave. Good place to go to watch international sports... if Dave can find it on satellite tv then he will put it on for you. Drinks are a little pricey but very good selection of imported beers. Lots of foreigners go here. Found in the Hankou district.

I have found big mouth but it does not seem to be the place you have described. It is a ktv and it had nothing going on.

Can you give me more information on this and its exact location incase there is 2 big mouths and I have stubbled across the wrong one?

Bars I can vouch for are Helens, Vox and Prison, they have alot of foreigners and you can occasionally have a good night at the toucan which is a pub in the holiday inn riverside.

Many thanks

Also have Burton Bar and La Provence Bar in the culture street of Huazhong Normal University(华中师范大学), well known as Huaxi University. A lot of foreigners go there, especially students. They have good prices and nice music. The foreigners just return home in the next day around 6:00 to 9:00 am. It is a very popular place.

These places are all ok, but i dont like to drink and I can't stand smoking. Are there any other ways to find foreigners outside of work? I am married to a Chinese girl and all I ever hear about is Chinese this and Chinese that. She doesn't understand much from America yet. Thanks for any advice.
