Xi'an Xianyang International Airport (XIY) (Xi'an Xianyang Guoji Jichang)
Xi'an's Airport is located 50 km northwest of downtown Xi'an. Although it is referred to Xi'an's airport, it is located in the neighboring city of Xianyang. The airport offers 68 daily domestic flights and 25 international flights to Asia, Europe, Oceania and America. Xi'an International Airport is noted for having the most international connections in Western China.

Shuttle Services:
There is a shuttle service that departs to and from the city at regular intervals from 6 am to 6 pm with the exception of some of the routes that only operate until 3 or 4 p.m. All travelers interested in boarding shuttles at the airport can do so outside the airport. Travelers interested in traveling to the airport by shuttle should go to any of the hotels listed below.

NOTE:
Lines 2 to 5 may not offer service after 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm. Frequency of buses traveling from the airport to downtown depends on the number and time of arrivals.
Taxi:
Taxis can be boarded outside the departure and arrival gates. Although it is not considered an economic way of travel (RMB 150 – 180) to the city of Xi'an, travelers may not have an alternative after 6 p.m.
